Carl Xuereb is a self-taught photographer based in Malta, drawn to the island as he's come to know it through years of quiet observation. What started as a personal hobby has grown into a genuine passion for uncovering the everyday beauty found along Malta's coastline and in the lived-in character of its villages.

For Carl, photography is a form of paying attention, returning to familiar places again and again, waiting for the moment that lets him tell a story both as a local and as a traveller.
