Samantha Debono

My passion for photography started during my teenage years. I have always loved art, and photography seemed like the perfect medium for me to express myself; showing the beauty I saw in the world from my point of view. I bought my first DSLR at the age of 16, and learned about the art through trial and error, teaching myself as I went along.

 

Once I started travelling and exploring the world, what was once a hobby of mine turned into a true passion. Travelling and photography will always be my two favourite things, food makes a very close second though. Taking photos of the places I’ve visited, both abroad and locally gives me great satisfaction; and taking the time to look at the details and the little things that give a place its own character has become a mission of mine.

 

The photographs I take remind me of moments in time I would like to preserve and share with the world.
