Aurelia

Derived from the ancient Rome empire, 'Aurelia' is a Latin name meaning 'the golden one'. It is also the botanical name given to the 'Gold Coin' plant, which is highly tolerant to extreme summer heat, making it particularly suitable for Mediterranean gardens. Flowering from spring, to summer and into autumn, this plant produces large, golden yellow open-faced daisy flowers, hence providing a splash of sunshine wherever they grow.
