Heart of the Forge (I)
A graceful fusion of symmetry and strength, Heart of the Forge draws inspiration from the elegant curves of traditional Maltese ironwork. The mirrored scrolls form a heart-like silhouette, framed by stylized fleurs-de-lis — a symbol often seen in Mediterranean ornamentation. This piece captures the romance and resilience of handmade ironwork, honouring a vanishing craft with timeless beauty.
Materials
Frame moulding is a 22mm subtle open grain finish, spray painted in either matte white or matte black, made from FSC certified timber.
The mount and wrought iron reliefs are made from a 2mm FAGT standard, white core or black core, lignin-free, alkaline-sized, calcium carbonate buffered and pH neutral.
Each frame is complete with all brass hanging hardware and backed with Double Kraft Lined Backing Board FSC Certified.
